A couple weeks ago, people participating in the Make Art That Sells bootcamp, were emailed a sort-of bonus project – a manifesto competition. Create an art manifesto based on what you've learned from the Make Art That Sells courses. Having only taken one course, and only in the first month of that, I immediately thought I didn't have time for it. I was busy with work and finishing up January's assignment, too. But once work calmed down and the assignment was turned in, I started to think about it. I got inspired and, of course, it turned out exactly the opposite of what I had originally pictured in my head. Isn't that always how it goes?
It's different for me with the dark background and hand lettering but I think I love it. What do you think? Do you have a manifesto, mantra or just a word that you are trying to live by this year?
We also got our February mini assignment today so I'll be back with a post on that soon!
